as a description i got a lil sketch with rather illegible handwriting and a overall concept of "dark brooding magical batmen" mm so. that was generic and uninteresting plus i cant stand superheroes........ but i still wanted to take it and make somthing cool with it -) it was a challange.
Lol i got in a fight with my instructor cuz i spent all my time working on this drawing instead of his stupid foam core sculpture bullshit. And then he asked me if i learned anything from making that foam core abomination. And i was like "NO' lol ><

Hey man, you're certainly improving alot!I like the mood and the lighting, but something strikes me weird about his head, it seems a littled detached from the body. Overall a great piece, looking forward to more from you.

really nice.... small touch that could have been added to was showing his right hand instead of covering it with the sleeve.. mages have to have their hands ready at all times.. so you could ahve had his hand and added some fine detail there which would have looked quite sexy.

on the rest of the pic... rather cool.. atmosphere and environment is kick ass.. and the whole thing about magic interfering with the physical appearance of the body is just.... perfect

actually his hands are holding that ball of light in the middle... but it's not very ell defined i agree ><
